Four color printing

History

The Chu family has been in the printing business in Houston since 1981. After working nearly 10 years as a civil engineer for Brown and Root, Min Chu left the oil and gas industry to pursue his dream of owning his own business – a print shop. Min got his start in 1981 in a single storefront in a strip center, where his early clients included New Era Life Insurance, A&E Plastics and a fledgling restaurant in front of his shop called Chili’s. (Yes, that Chili’s!)

Over the years, Min and his sons Rex and Kent put in long hours at the small shop, eventually growing it into what it is today. Although Kent has pursued his dream of working as an electrical engineer, Rex follows in Min’s footsteps at Texas Litho. Today, Texas Litho’s staff still practices the craft of fine printing with the latest technology from Heidelberg and HP Indigo Digital. Many years of accumulated experience ensures that every project – no matter how large or small – receives the same attention to detail. Every day, we look forward to the opportunity to provide excellent service, timely turnarounds and a finely crafted product.
